Personality-Filled Children's Studio Portraits in Edmonton

I first met my friend Jade during school drop-off, and we found out that we both had kids who were exactly the same ages. Our six-year-olds became the sweetest friends, holding hands as they walked to school in the morning, so it only made sense for our three-year-olds to form their own little friendship too.

This session was especially meaningful because Jade's youngest was about to turn four in just a few days, making it the perfect time to capture her sweet personality.

My children's studio portrait sessions hold a special place in my heart. The idea began when I photographed my own daughter at just 20 months old against a simple grey backdrop. The simplicity of the image and the stillness of the moment showed me just how beautiful a simple portrait could be. In that moment, I knew I wanted to create the same experience for other families.

Sessions take place in my home studio located in Ellerslie South Edmonton. I focus on creating a fun and easygoing environment that allows children to feel comfortable being themselves. There's no pressure to smile on command or perform in any way. Instead, I take a patient and playful approach, allowing each child's unique personality to shine through naturally.
